Starting in the 2018 / 2019 tax season Adams 1099 Tax Forms Helper
is available online only and there is no software to download locally on your
computer either from the internet or through a CD. In the past, you would buy a
package from Office Despot or Staples that includes the forms and a CD and then
you would install on your computer and print. This is no longer the case.
If you want software you can download and install locally on
your computer and use to print on your forms, you can try a product called W2 Mate
W2 / 1099 Software. Once you have the product installed on your computer, you can
enter your recipients data and 1099 forms and then print either on pre-printed
forms or the contractor / recipients copies on white paper.

According to the IRS, below are the deadlines for filing
2018 tax forms in 2019:
Furnish Copy B of form 1099-MISC to the recipient by January
31, 2019. The due date is extended to February 15, 2019, if you are reporting
payments in box 8 or 14. File Copy A of this form with the IRS by January 31, 2019, if you are reporting
payments in box 7. Otherwise, file by
February 28, 2019, if you file on paper, or by April 1, 2019, if you file
electronically. To file electronically, you must have software that generates a
file according to the specifications in Pub. 1220. The IRS does not provide a
fill-in form option.
